The short version
- Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of buying and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked.
- If something we sold you doesn't work and we can't fix it, you'll get a refund whenever it happens.
- Email support@oddhoursaudio.com or reply to your receipt.
Purchases aren't live yet coming soon. This policy is ready for when they are.
14 days, for any reason
If you're not happy with an instrument or a pass, ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and you'll get your money back in full. You don't need to give a reason, though we'd love to know what we could do better.
When a purchase is refunded, its paid features are removed from your account. Anything you've already exported is still yours to keep and use.
After 14 days
If an instrument you paid for has a fault we can't fix, or stops doing what we said it would, you're entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, however long ago you bought it. We'll also consider any other request fairly, case by case.
How to ask
Email support@oddhoursaudio.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Our payments are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record, so refunds go back to your original payment method through Paddle. They usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Passes and upgrades
- Refunding a pass removes access to every instrument it unlocked.
- If you upgraded from a single instrument to a pass and refund the pass, you keep the instrument you'd already bought, and we refund the amount you paid for the upgrade.
- If a Founders Pass is refunded, it goes back on sale, so someone else can have one of the 250.
Things we can't refund
We may refuse a refund where it's being used to get around paying, for example repeated buy-and-refund, or where a purchase was made with someone else's card without permission. This never affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
